Program Overview

Thriving on Stress – Stress Management Training is a dynamic and practical workshop designed to help participants understand stress, its triggers, and effective coping strategies. Delivered over four and a half hours in three interactive segments, the program combines knowledge sharing, self-assessment, and practical tools. Participants will explore the psychology and physiology of stress, learn to reframe it as resilience, and discover the role of nutrition in managing stress. By the end, they will gain skills to thrive under pressure.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, participants will understand stress and its triggers, recognize symptoms, reframe stress positively, apply coping strategies, refine personal approaches, and incorporate nutrition and lifestyle habits to build resilience and enhance well-being.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the Thriving on Stress – Stress Management Training, participants will be able to clearly define stress and identify their personal stressors while recognizing its early signs and symptoms. They will gain a deeper understanding of common triggers and factors that aggravate stress in various situations. Through practical exercises, they will learn and apply effective stress management techniques, reframing stress as an opportunity for personal growth and resilience. Participants will also evaluate and refine their own coping styles, while making informed lifestyle and nutritional choices that positively influence stress levels and enhance overall well-being.

Dr. Syed Shameem Ejaz

Dr. Syed Shameem Ejaz, PhD in Psychology from the University of Karachi with an advanced diploma in Counseling (USA), is a psychotherapist, counselor, trainer, and researcher with 19 years of experience. His expertise spans personality, perception, emotion, social-cognitive interactions, and brain-computer interface (BCI). He has consulted for UNICEF, UNDP, Bayer France, Syngenta, Crop-Sciences Switzerland, DHA Colleges, and SOS Villages. Passionate about youth well-being, Dr. Ejaz provides counseling and workshops addressing stress, anxiety, and depression in both clinical and community settings.
Dr Shameem Ejaz
